Watch Trey Gowdy Demolishing The Mainstream Media On The Wiretapping Scandal!

South Carolina Republican Trey “The Bulldog” Gowdy is one of the hardest politicians today. He started his career as a federal prosecutor, so he brought this attitude to the Congress.

Now, he unleashed the beast on the mainstream media. Apparently, he went on Fox News on Monday to criticize the media’s stance on Trump’s claims of Obama‘s connections with the wiretapping incident during the 2016 presidential campaign.

He explained that Congress can lead an investigation much better than the media, so they should STOP putting their hands on un-relevant ‘facts’ that they release to the public.

I think Congress is much better equipped to do investigations than journalists are,” Gowdy told Fox News host Bill Hemmer. “We can’t rely on anonymous sources. We can’t rely on leaked information, classified information which in and of itself is a crime.”

So with all due respect, to the reporters, I can’t cross-examine anonymous sources. You can’t even directly examine them. It’s a lot easier to write a news piece than it is to conduct an investigation,” he continued.

What Congress needs is access to the witnesses, access to the documents, and to understand that we don’t run parallel criminal investigations. We have a job to do, but it is not to investigate the crime.” he finished.

Watch the video bellow:

When Gowdy was questioned if he had seen evidence of Obama’s connection with the wiretapping scandal he answered no. He also stated that there are no evidence that Trump had any connection with Russia what so ever, adding that “reports to the contrary have been described as demonstrably false to me by people who would know.”

While evidence of wiretapping hasn’t come forward yet, it’s no secret that the FBI obtained a FISA warrant against someone involved with the Trump Organization over a computer link to a Russian bank. The link — described with typical objectivity by The New York Times as a “mysterious back channel” — turned out to be nothing, at least as far as federal officials were concerned.”

Gowdy is absolutely RIGHT! This kind of scandals is not something to be discussed widely amongst the media outlets. This is a problem that should be addressed properly and investigated only by the Congress, and not some frustrated journalists.

THAT’S RIGHT! What Do You Think Of Gowdy’s Statement?
